Adopt-A-Road

The Adopt-A-Road Program is an initiative of the Keep Montgomery County Beautiful Citizen Task Force, and is administered by the Montgomery County Department of Public Works and Transportation. The program encourages residents and organizations to “adopt” a section of road and keep the area adjacent to the road clean and litter free.

In 1990, the Chapter adopted Waring Station Road from Clopper Road to Wisteria Drive, and weather permitting, has completed at least six major road clean-ups each year. You can find the dates of scheduled road cleanups in the Calendar.
