The Izaak Walton League of America Rockville Chapter (IWLAR) is offering six (6) $2,000 scholarships to qualified Montgomery County, MD student applicants. This scholarship is available to students who will be pursuing their education in conservation or environmentally related disciplines.

The Chapter’s Conservation Scholarships are awarded to young people studying conservation or environmental disciplines. We all hope that the next generation shares our goal of maintaining and improving our world. One way we help encourage young people who want to take on that challenge is with our Thomas W. Fisher Conservation Scholarships.

Appropriate curricula for applicants, must stress subjects related to conservation and the environment. Applicants should be as thorough as possible in completing the application. The Scholarship Committee’s decision will be based on the information that you provide.
